[2019.06.25] Ansan City Supports Participation in 'CommunicAsia 2019' — Achieves $2 Million Export Contract

Ansan City supported three local ICT companies in participating in the "CommunicAsia 2019" information and communications expo in Singapore, resulting in over 110 business consultations, $7.95 million in export negotiations, and $2 million in finalized export contracts.

CommunicAsia 2019 is the largest ICT exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region, showcasing the latest technologies and products in mobile, network, and telecommunications. Ansan City supported the participation of EPIC Systems, Kevin Lab Co., and Cosmovision Co.

EPIC Systems, a digital door lock specialist, signed a $2 million export contract on-site with a Singapore-based company — equivalent to 35% of its annual revenue over a two-year term.

Ansan Mayor Yoon Hwa-seob said, "Ansan City strives to strengthen corporate competitiveness and foster the software industry by discovering promising local IT/SW companies and providing global marketing and technology support. We will continue to actively support overseas market expansion for outstanding local companies."
