If the connector linking the main body and the front unit is not properly connected, the fingerprint module may not light up.
Please double-check if any pins are bent and ensure all pins are accurately aligned during connection.
Even if other functions appear to work normally, the fingerprint recognition alone may fail if the connector is not fully seated.
This is sometimes mistaken for a product defect, so please re-examine the connector status and try reconnecting the cable.

These functions determine how your door locks:
Auto Lock: The door locks automatically based on the sensor's status.
Manual Lock: The door only locks when you touch the keypad for approximately 2 seconds.

Yes, you can adjust the volume to your preference or mute it entirely.
Increase Volume: [Touch Keypad] → [Current PIN] → [#] → [3] (Repeat until desired level) → [Registration Button]
Decrease Volume / Mute: [Touch Keypad] → [Current PIN] → [#] → [6] (Repeat until desired level or silent) → [Registration Button]
To register a remote control, a remote control module must first be installed in the door lock's main body.
Registration Steps:
[R button] → [Current PIN] → [#] → [5] → [Remote Control OPEN Button] → [R button]
※ If the remote control module is not installed, the number 5 will not light up on the keypad.

To register a Super Admin PIN, follow these steps:
[R button] → [Current PIN] → [#] → [Press and hold OPEN/CLOSE button for 3 seconds (until LED lights up)] → [New Super Admin PIN (6-12 digits)] → [#] → [Re-enter Super Admin PIN] → [R button]
※ If a Super Admin PIN is already registered, the LED will not light up when you press and hold the [OPEN/CLOSE] button for 3 seconds.
Installation / Relocation
Self-installation is an optional choice for our customers.
However, please be advised that any issues arising from installation without a sufficient understanding of the product may not be covered under our free warranty service.
If you choose to install the product yourself, we strongly recommend that you thoroughly review the installation manuals, guides, and video materials provided by the company before proceeding.

We do not recommend installing the product in environments where it may be directly exposed to snow or rain.
While the device features basic water resistance, water or moisture penetrating the interior of the unit can cause malfunctions.
Furthermore, we advise against using or leaving the product in locations with high temperatures or intense direct sunlight.
Continuous exposure to UV rays may lead to keypad cracking and potential mechanical failure.
You must adjust the settings based on whether the door is left-handed or right-handed.
Handle-type Models: You can change the handle direction by pressing the button at the bottom of the interior handle and rotating it.
RIM-type Models: Orientation is set by flipping the unit vertically to match the direction of the deadbolt or hook.
Glass-type Models: Once installed in the desired direction, inserting the batteries will automatically adjust the keypad number orientation.

Yes, it is possible to install the new lock after removing the existing one.
However, depending on the condition of the door, additional drilling may be required.

Troubleshooting
For models with a C-Type port, connect a power cable to the terminal to supply emergency power, then enter your PIN to unlock the door.
For models with 9V emergency terminals, press a 9V alkaline battery against the contact points and enter your PIN while maintaining contact.
Once the door is open, please replace all AA alkaline batteries immediately.
※ Keep the 9V battery in contact until the door is fully unlocked.
※ The location of the emergency terminal may vary depending on the model.
The battery life typically lasts between 6 months to 1 year, depending on the usage environment and frequency.
You can identify the replacement timing when an alarm sounds during operation or when the battery icon on the keypad flashes red.
When this occurs, please replace all batteries at once with new alkaline batteries.
If the product was reset during the service process, all previously registered information (PIN, cards, fingerprints, etc.) will be deleted. Please re-register your key before use.
※ The initial default PIN is 1234.
To ensure security, please delete all registered card and remote control information from the system, then re-register only the keys and remotes you currently possess.

For App-supported models, the Super Admin can perform a reset via the EPIC Things (BLE) app under Smart Lock > Admin Settings > Factory Reset.

If an Admin is registered, the Super Admin or General Admin can reset the user PIN.
If no Super Admin is available, recovery or verification is not possible, and a Factory Reset must be performed to reset all settings.
If the Super Admin PIN is lost, it cannot be recovered or verified. You must proceed with a Factory Reset.

You can currently download and use the EPIC Things (BLE) app for free from the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android).

App availability may vary depending on the supported OS versions and device compatibility standards provided by Google Play and the App Store.
As long as your device meets the required specifications, you will be able to use the app without issues.
By adding a Wi-Fi Bridge, you can use Wi-Fi mode to remotely control your door lock, allowing you to lock or unlock it from anywhere without distance limitations.
Additionally, you can receive real-time push notifications while away and utilize the Guest PIN feature.
When registering a door lock: If the door lock is already registered to another account, the BLE number will appear in the search but cannot be selected.
Since a door lock cannot be registered to multiple accounts simultaneously, please delete the existing registration before trying again.
When registering a Wi-Fi Bridge: If the bridge is already registered, its unique ID will be searchable but not selectable.
Only one Wi-Fi Bridge can be linked per door lock.
Please disconnect the existing registration and try again.
Deleting a Door Lock: In the Smart Lock menu, select the specific door lock you wish to remove and tap "Smart Lock Deletion."
After agreeing to the precautions on the deletion information screen, select "Smart Lock Deletion" again to complete the process.
Deleting a Wi-Fi Bridge: In the Wi-Fi Bridge menu, select the bridge you wish to remove and tap "Delete."
Select "Delete" once more in the confirmation pop-up to complete the removal.
Use a pointed tool to press and hold the reset button inside the small hole on the side of the Wi-Fi Bridge for approximately 10 seconds to perform a factory reset.
Currently, you can register and manage multiple door locks within a single app without any specific limitations.

You can invite family members or other users through the "Member" menu in the app.
You can also customize menu access and functional permissions for each member.
You can issue guest keys for visitors to use for a specific period through the "Guest Key" menu in the app.
Guest keys grant temporary access and come in three types—App, PIN, and OTP—allowing you to choose the most suitable option for your situation.
※ Up to 10 PIN Guest Keys can be issued, and a Wi-Fi Bridge is required to use this specific feature.
The red number next to the door lock or Wi-Fi Bridge icon indicates that a firmware update is available.
Door Lock Firmware Update: Select the specific lock in the Smart Lock menu, then tap "Smart Lock Firmware" to proceed with the update.
Wi-Fi Bridge Firmware Update: Select the specific bridge in the Wi-Fi Bridge menu, then tap "Wi-Fi Bridge Firmware" to proceed with the update.
If the connection is interrupted during an update, the device will be restored to its previously installed version.
You can then reconnect and attempt the update again.
You can view and track access records for up to 3 months.
The standard operating range is approximately 10 meters.
However, the actual distance may vary depending on the surrounding environment and obstacles.
In the event of a communication failure, the connection between the door lock and the app or Wi-Fi Bridge may be interrupted, and certain smart features may be limited.
However, this does not affect the core operation of the door lock itself, so there is no risk of the lock malfunctioning.

We offer a one-year warranty for the door lock. Please note that accessories are not covered under this warranty.
After this period, paid repair services and part replacements are available to ensure your product continues to function properly.
